I am told that I will have to pay pro-rata for July and August because that is when the contract expires. I now have to pay R563 for a service I cannot use after June. When you join Virgin Active at the gym using your Discovery Medial Aid to get the discount, you not get a contract from Virgin, they sign you up on the spot. I recommend all members read the contracts ir ask for one. Anything related to @Discovery will cost you money when you try and cancel. With Discovery I resign as main member effective end June, leaving my wife and daughter. My MSA immediately gets cancelled and advised that the last payment will be end of August !!!! After 14 years of memebership. All automated , no compastion, no empathy.
