🚨 SENATOR LILLY TÉLLEZ IS RISKING HER LIFE FOR THE TRUTH. Mexican Senator Lilly Téllez just went on @FoxAndFriends and dropped bombs about how Mexico has turned into a full-blown narco-state under President Claudia Sheinbaum. She’s calling it exactly what it is, and doing it while the cartels are watching. This is what real courage looks like. A woman staring down one of the most dangerous regimes on the planet to warn America what’s coming across our border.

Washington State Democrats have terminated pension plans for police officers & firefighters, raiding billions to pay for Democrat Spending It has become the first state in US history to terminate a public employee pension plan. The legislature in Olympia passed the bill and the related federal lawsuit filed in Seattle. Governor Bob Ferguson, a Democrat, signed Engrossed Second Substitute House Bill 2034 (E2SHB 2034) into law. The termination of LEOFF Plan 1 takes effect June 30, 2029. Details: 🔺️LEOFF Plan 1 covers law enforcement officers and firefighters hired before October 1, 1977. 🔺️It closed to new members decades ago and now serves about 5,500-6,000 mostly retired members and beneficiaries. 🔺️As of the state's own June 2024 actuarial valuation, the plan stood at 160% funded, with a substantial surplus. 🔺️No employer or employee contributions have been required for 25 years since it hit full funding around 2000. 🔺️Projections showed it heading to over 200% funded with a $4.3 billion surplus by 2029. 🔺️The law terminates the existing plan and "restates" it into a new system. 🔺️It transfers enough assets to the new fund to leave it at 110% funded, then sweeps the rest - expected at $3.9 billion - into a pension surplus holding account. 🔺️From there, politicians can redirect it for general spending. 🔺️$569 million goes to the Climate Commitment Account and $880 million goes to refill the rainy day fund that Democrats already drained to cover a deficit they created through overspending. Other portions eyed climate programs and general budget gaps. The Bill was sponsored by Rep. Timm Ormsby (D-Spokane), it passed the House 55-39 (every yes vote was a Democrat, while republicans voted no). The state claims members have a contractual right only to their benefits, not surplus assets, and that ~80% of original contributions came from the state. Critics call this a betrayal of the deal for first responders who risk their lives to protect the public. Retired first responders sued with former King County Sheriff and Congressman Dave Reichert (R), who served as a LEOFF 1 member since 1972 being the lead plaintiff. Other plaintiffs include leaders from retired police and firefighter associations. Many say local and state governments are funding illegal migrants while ripping away pensions for first responders. When I first joined forces with my news person two years ago I didn’t have a long term vision other than “use my account - help people understand what’s really going on out there”. I had a name that some knew so why not use it for awareness? I told my news person at the time I didn’t care if I got banned - I’m wasn’t then and am not here now for likes or approval or popularity. I told them to post about everything going on. Help people see that something is really happening. What some who were around in 2024 know is I went through a trial by fire. I was divorcing a person because I found out they had actually spent 30 years abusing me in ways I never knew possible. I quite literally didn’t know who I was or what I was capable of doing. As some of my friends know I went through some extremely tough times. I have 3 tattoos that bear out the pain and grief and lost feelings I had that year. However, the one guiding principle that kept me going was that God had a plan for me. I had no clue what it was and I certainly couldn’t see it back then. I had a few clues however. In the two years since through a lot of intense prayer, a lot of soul searching I found out just who I am and what I’m capable of doing. My ex hated that I gave to this community so selflessly - she claimed “they’ll all take advantage of you, you can’t trust anyone, you’re a fool”. And yes, some did for brief periods did take advantage, however I’m a fast learner and made sure to course correct often. I stand before you today a very changed person very certain of my mission. I’ve found others dedicated in the same way I am - they help manage the teacher and CPS sites. I’ll let them identify themselves if they want here - but I want them to know and understand just how much I value them, because they are the ones that helped me understand where I needed to go - and without them those two sites would not have been born. Perhaps I also learned a bit about what true dedication looks like from them as well. Last night on the podcast with @RamboAndFrens and @NewsTreason I said some things that to some may have sounded flippant - because in my mind the sites I’ve built were absolutely necessary - not building them was never an option. When I started building them I paid zero attention to cost or the time I spent putting them together, much less continuing to grow them. I considered it “the price of truth”. I have a full time job, and running these sites is another full time job. I don’t quit. I don’t take days off (for example last night and this morning I added and improved a new feature on the CPS site). Despite all the time I spend I don’t ever get tired because the goal is that important. If we can help just one parent prevent something bad from happening to a child we win. All that being said, I’m one of those people that doesn’t like asking for help (it’s biblically rooted - give anonymously - so I give what I have plenty of - my time and skills). So when Joe said he was going to make sure I got help financially I didn’t know how to react. I never expected the outpouring of support I received last night and today. It’s still difficult for me to comprehend and writing this has been difficult. So I will say this - from the bottom of my heart thank you to everyone that is helping. It has lifted a great weight from me that I didn’t know I was carrying. It has renewed my spirit and will push me even more on this path. I’ll be launching a third site in the coming months dedicated to tracking clergy, law enforcement, politicians and others we are supposed to be able to trust with our children. Let’s make accountability great again. Joshua 7:13  Up, sanctify the people, and say, Sanctify yourselves against to morrow: for thus saith the Lord God of Israel, There is an accursed thing in the midst of thee, O Israel: thou canst not stand before thine enemies, until ye take away the accursed thing from among you.

This is one of the best explanations of the leftist mindset. I have read in a while. I encourage you to read it from a former leftist or at least formerly left leaning.

I was a lifelong Democrat. I thought most conservatives were ignorant or evil or lying. I believed almost everything written in the New York Times, The New Republic, and the Atlantic. I was horrified when conservatives criticized the authorities. Every criticism I saw: I thought all of it was motivated by animus, resentment, self-interest, or ignorance. Whatever truth there might have been in the criticism, I saw as a mere "half-truth": an exploitation of this or that cherrypicked fact being weaponized. Why did I see it in terms of weaponization? Because I was biased: I saw liberal establishment institutions and figures as fundamentally good, so all criticism of them was automatically interpreted as being in bad faith. Didn't the critics know that these institutions or figures were fundamentally good? If they didn't, they were ignorant. If they did, they were evil. It was that simple. This meant that any legitimate criticisms would just be dismissed, as if bouncing off of an impenetrable bulletproof shield. This all changed once I started writing about the pandemic. Soon people started talking about me the way I once thought about conservatives. This led to a complete identity collapse as I came to understand that my old worldview was hateful and ignorant, that I hadn't understood what I had been judging. I cannot forget the hearing that led to my dismissal from medical school a year after I started writing. During the hearing, people talked about me as if I wasn't human. My behavior was interpreted in the worst possible light. Complete fabrications were created. Nobody was concerned with the truth, only horrified at my apparent "unprofessional behavior", which was really a mirror of their unprofessional behavior directed at me. They structured the hearing to make it virtually impossible for me to speak and explain that what was being said was a lie. And nobody seemed to have any problem with this. Why? Because I was bad. If I am bad, then every mistreatment and every violation of the school's own policies became justified. A person who is bad does not deserve any rights. They only deserve punishment. But the thing I remember most was the allusions to my social media activity. They said, "Kevin is driven by resentment from his childhood." I wasn't. I was on good terms with my parents. They alleged that I needed psychotherapy to deal with this trauma. It was a completely fake story that they had constructed about me, to demean me, to marginalize me, to try to explain the views I had expressed: that something terribly wrong had happened during the pandemic. They couldn't imagine that I might have legitimate points. So they reduced me to the same kinds of psychological caricatures that I once reduced conservatives to in my own mind. When I was dismissed, I was broken. But I had help from friends who helped me understand what happened. And I came to realize that a hysteria had overtaken the left. I spent a lot of time reading about show trials, about witch trials, and so on. I also connected with people who had experienced similar things and came to realize that something similar had happened to hundreds of physicians around the country. My story wasn't unique. It was all the same story over and over again. I cannot believe the person I once was. I cannot believe that I could exist like that. I still don't understand how I could be like that, or how millions of people in this country could continue being like that. It disturbs me greatly. One thing I know is that whatever this thing is that is driving people crazy needs to be destroyed. It is hostile to civilization and to our humanity. It causes us to dehumanize each other and try to destroy each other. It is the very same monstrous thing that I once attributed to conservatives. But it had been inside me, and I could now see it inside others. This is something I still grapple with.
