450 survivors and Honor Guard families gathered with Santa for a wonderful holiday event at Xcel Energy Center for Disney On Ice

We mourn the loss of Chicago Police Officer Samuel Jimenez, a father of three who had joined the Chicago Police Department last year and recently finished his probationary period. He died in the Line of Duty seeking to protect those he was sworn to serve.

Twenty-four years ago, August, 26 1994, Officer Ron Ryan, Jr. and Canine Officer Tim Jones and his canine partner Laser gave their lives in the Line of Duty. Their heroic sacrifice saved and protected countless other men and women of law enforcement and our community that day.
