Investors: Dorsey is not trusted

Happy Saint Patrick’s Day. St Patrick is remembered as the patron saint of Ireland, but he was not Irish by birth. He was a Brit, born in Roman Britain in the late 4th century. Patrick himself wrote that he came from a place called Bannavem Taburniae somewhere on the western coast of Britain, most likely around what is now Cumbria in England, where Irish raiders regularly struck the shores. At about the age of sixteen he was captured by Irish raiders and carried across the sea into slavery. For around six years he lived as a shepherd in Ireland. Patrick eventually escaped and made his way back across the sea to Britain, returning to his family. Later, after training as a Christian cleric, he said he experienced a vision in which the people of Ireland called him back. He returned to Ireland willingly, not as a captive this time, but as a missionary who would go on to spread Christianity across the island.
