Close match as both pairs have a lot of experience playing with each other (144-85 Negritu/Merino vs 79/50 Karol/Matuszewski) but our pair already won Valencia CH 2 years ago where they defeated the polish pair 6-3 6-4 and this week they seem to be back at a very high level with wins over Paulson/Vrbensky and Molchanov/Pavel. For me, nowadays Negritu is the best player in court and Karol has been a bit washed, and they even stopped pairing each other partner last year. Fair 1.6-1.65

They paired once, making Olbia final having a very fortunate and random week but I dont rate them that much. Also Cornea had his wedding this weekend and Pujol first time on this conditions. Both Marrero and Garrett played rlly well on singles this week, both losing on super close matches, respectively vs Pieri while being break up in the third and 6-4 in the third vs Trungelliti. Both are rlly used to altitude conditions and have played together on a few ITFs.
