We got a lot of messages after our post yesterday wondering where we have been, if we are alright and if I was ok! We are hanging in there! This is going to be long and we don't expect you to stay til the end, but we want to just let everyone know we are good! It's been a crazy 6 months but Mommy is staying positive and I have to say I help her so much with that! Some of you knew that Daddy was busy last year in the planning stages of a brewery/event venue that we were so excited about. Well when it came time for permits, the government being shut down we weren't able to secure in time for the banks liking. After that news, the financial backer had also decided he couldn't wait so he pulled out also. But, the financial backer had signed Daddy on as a consultant to write the business plans, and apply for grants for this project. Daddy has a signed contract with this person who has refused to pay even though he used Daddy's work to get loans from local banks and he owes Daddy a whole lot of money. We have a lawyer who is working on getting Daddy's pay it's just very timely and we need to wait it out. They seem confident it's an open and shut case since the contract was signed and dated and there is proof that it is Daddys work between the grants submitted in Daddy's name and emails with NY representatives to Daddy. It's just a waiting game. Daddy has found a job finally in his field, but not nearly close to the pay. Mommy has been working her butt off watching all the pups and even taking on extra walkers. Now you wonder why would we be heading to Dog Mountain with all this going on, well it's our happy place. A place we don't worry about while we are there and a place that makes us feel happy (and that is long overdue!) Mommy tends to hold everything inside and this isn't good for her health. So a day on the mountain with the fresh air blowing and loads of doggos running around are sure to bring a smile to her face. We apologize if we have ignored some messages or haven't gotten back to you quick, we are doing what we can do to get through every day. We absolutely miss each and every one of you and please don't take it personally if we don't respond right away. We are grateful to have caring frens like yourselves. Don't think we are asking for anything because we are not, we just want to catch you all up on what has been happening and to let you know we will be alright! We are always surrounded with positivity and good vibes and we couldn't ask for more! We lubs you all 💜
