Illegal aliens are a parasitic drain on the system. The feds have known it for years and partisan interests are hiding the facts. The facts: cbo.gov/sites/default/…

Here at Vlad the Impaler’s tomb… Folks, this reminds me that cultures have historically been marred by illegal aliens. One moment you’re enjoying your hard fought societal traditions and values, the next invaders decide your land and your people should look like theirs. The Prince of Walachia wasn’t some cartoon villain, he was a great hero to his people. When the Turks came rolling in, he did what was necessary to protect his culture and way of life. Sometimes the only thing standing between your civilization and the next wave of invaders is a motivated PATRIOT willing to do what it takes. Caught in the Act🎯 Leo XIV lived in Peru for a long time, and Peru has been a stronghold of Liberation Theology. Liberation Theology is rooted in Marxist Communist ideas, and Leo XIV appears to have been influenced by that milieu, as a photograph showing him at a communist-organized rally in the 1980s suggests.

@theblaze It's God's rainbow. Forcing people to bow to your view only creates hostility. EQUAL rights is pretty clear - you don't get more rights than anyone else.

@MatchlessMine So God shouldn't filter out homosexual child predators from his own church that is supposed to guide his flock, is that what you're saying?

Looking back on it, the LGBTQ community somehow avoided any negative press during the long-running Catholic Church sex abuse scandal, despite priestly homosexuality being the common denominator.

Pope Leo XIV on the upcoming SSPX Episcopal Consecrations: “I am considering making another appeal saying don't do this, let's try to live the communion of the Church. But it's their choice. One must realize what it means for them and for the Church. Certainly, the division among Christians is a painful point. However, they refuse to accept some fundamental elements of the Church, starting with several points from the Second Vatican Council. If they make that decision, I'm sorry but we have to move on.”

@MatchlessMine I'm unaware of such a statement, but Vatican II is one of the main reasons why I went eastward to Holy Orthodoxy

@fentasyl How can God and the Church be unable to filter out gays from its own priesthood? Aren't they supposed to be sacred and such?

As a priest once observed in a sermon I heard, if a person from 12th-century Ireland had been transported to the Ireland of the following century, they would have found almost nothing changed. The worldview, daily living conditions, and even the available technology would have remained virtually identical. By the 20th century, however, everything had shifted dramatically. The pace of change had become so rapid that transformations in every aspect of life were noticeable, not just from century to century, but from one decade to the next. Vatican II was the Church’s deliberate response to this new reality—an attempt to update itself so it could continue to preach the Gospel effectively and meet modern people where they actually lived.
Ojike Uzoma@Xtopher_Uzo

I think one thing Catholics should understand about the SSPX–Vatican situation is that the world has changed. Long before Vatican II, Popes were already warning about secularism, liberalism, and modernism. The shift away from Christian civilization was already happening. Now, by the time Vatican II arrived, many nations that were once-Catholic - like France, Spain, Portugal, and Ireland - were already deeply secular in public life. The old "Catholic state" structure was already collapsing. Therefore I strongly believe Vatican II did not create a new world. Rather, it responded to a world that had already changed. I think this is the key point people miss. Yes, evil has no rights. That declaration remains true. But Vatican II was not saying error becomes truth or that all religions are equal. V2 was addressing a different question: in a modern state, can people be coerced in matters of religion? That question matters, because we are no longer in medieval Christendom. Therefore, when some SSPX apologists act like Vatican I–era structures can simply be restored everywhere today, they are ignoring reality. I think we should be more focused on how the Church stays faithful to her mission, doing the work of our Divine Lord, Jesus Christ, in a world that no longer looks like Christendom.

Guy films the no-go zone in Frankfurt at night, asking why there are Somalis in Germany. A Somali immediately confronts him, tells him to get the fuck out of there, and throws a bottle at him while he’s walking away. Demands he stop filming too. This is Germany now.
