My husband had just returned from Porthacourt, I was heavily pregnant and was happy to have him back. Night came and I went to bed with our little boy leaving my husband in the sitting room while he played his PS. That was all I knew, suddenly I felt a flash bright light on my face, I woke up and was asking why are you pointing the touch at me like that thinking it was my husband, I never knew thieves had entered our house, then one of them said madam na thief we be. He was now asking where is your husband, we will unalive him today. Omo, I was fully awake at that time, carried my baby up and when one of them saw my huge bump, he told the other guy that this one is pregnant let's go. They had scattered our house, took my husband's phone, took the playstation. But I didn't see my husband. When they left I began searching for my husband, he was no where to be found, I called my parents and told what had happened that I couldn't find my husband, in the middle of the night, where do I go to. I began crying and praying he's okay. 15 minutes later he came back in a soldier Hilux filled with soldiers because there's a Barack not far from us. He said the men had wanted to enter the house, when he noticed them, he locked the entrance door switched off the lights and ran through the back door with his boxer barefooted, he ran to the soldiers barracks to call for help, but they said they can't do anything except their oga gives them an order. Since they couldn't come in via the entrance door, they broke down the window with a very huge stone and made their way through. If you've never encountered these guys, you won't understand.

A General Hospital is supposedly turning pregnant women away that their list is full and they should return in 6 months, that there is no space.... They don't refer them or advice them to seek care elsewhere, it's come back in 6 months... Is it that no one gives a damn about maternal mortality again ??

As I was going for work this morning , I saw some APC and president Bola Tinubu supporters just doing like a small street campaign , they ask me , who will I vote for in 2027 presidential Elections, I didn’t respond, they kept on asking and persuading me to vote for president Tinubu. After like 10 minutes , I took them into a little bar and restaurant, we sat down together ate and drink . I told them ,.’ my brothers , you guys are 16 in numbers , if you all can tell me tinubu achievements in the last 4 years as a president, I won’t only vote for him , I will campaign for him with my life .. I do not agree with this take. Medicine and Nursing are two distinct professions, and both professions are robust, and knowledgeable within its own domain. Nursing is not the mini version of Medicine and Medicine is not the advanced version of Nursing. Measuring knowledge gaps between two distinct profession is not relevant. Same way you can’t measure knowledge gap between a banker and a pilot. If you want to measure knowledge gap, do that within an Inter-professional space; Resident to Consultant , etc.
