This bill will bring forward the most devastating cuts to disability benefits on record. The government's own impact assessment report says 250,000 people could be pushed into poverty. This bill if passed will be a stain on the Labour Party for years to come. I urge Labour MPs to reject it at 2nd reading.

Let’s be clear- this Labour government isn’t just using existing capacity in the private sector to bring down NHS waiting lists - they’re building that capacity🚨. They’re funnelling billions into private companies when they could be investing in publicly-owned NHS services.

Almost 2 months have passed since the PM missed his deadline for introducing the Hillsborough Law backed by families, survivors & campaign groups, even though the legislation is sitting here ready to go. Today in Parliament I told the Govt that a failure to introduce a Hillsborough Law worthy of the name will be seen as a continuation of the betrayal of survivors and families of Hillsborough & all affected by state cover ups.
