Welcome Ine Hoeben, our newest PhD-student! Ine obtained a Master degree in #BiomedicalSciences at the @UAntwerpen, specialising in clinical research. Her PhD will focus on #Salmonella Typhimurium and its evolutionary adaptation toward invasiveness 🔬

Ine will dive deeper into the evolution of #Salmonella Typhimurium towards invasiveness, while Enya will discover the world of ‘POEMBAKterie’, using #CitizenScience to define the urban kitchen sink microbiome. Congratulations on this huge milestone 👏
