A big well done to our students for voting our Merchants' Mock Election this week, students were given the same choices as appeared on the South Bristol Constituency polling card, and voted in the same way as South Bristol did! Well done to all staff and students involved!

Good Morning all, We had a fantastic team building day out with our Future Quest and Insight into Apprenticeships Y9 groups at Mendip Activity Centre yesterday! Students participated in a range of activities from rock climbing, low ropes and active archery.

Last week was an absolute success at The Wave, hundreds of students from Merchants' participated in exciting surfing activities and had a positive experience in the water. We've even made BBC news! bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

Dear Parents/Carers, What is PalWorld? – Safety and guidance for parents. We have attached an informative poster about the new and upcoming game ‘PalWorld’ and have included some safeguarding information revolving around the game’s content.

After half-term the Sherwood Centre will be open to all Year 11 students for quiet revision daily from 10am-1:20pm. This will be until the final exam on June 20th. Students must be in full uniform and sign in and out on the iPad in reception.

On an amazing note to end our busy week: We witnessed amazing student leadership in a cooking lesson by overseeing a Y13 kindly helping a Y8 setting their recipe, introducing the lesson and keeping the class on track! A big thank you to Sam for organising!

A group of selected students from Y10 visited Origin Workspace and participated in the ‘Green Futures Profiling Workshop’ hosted by the South Bristol Youth Project. The group engaged in a variety of activities, and explored around the building. A great time was had by all! 🙂
