Monsters fam, here is a proposal and we'd love to hear your voice!👹 The Merlin Monster team has been focused on bringing more people into our world and steadily progressing with our roadmap (check it out at merlin.monster/roadmap). We want to make it possible for non-NFT players to join and help Merlin Monster flourish. To achieve this, we've designed a program that gradually reduces the number of monster NFTs in the market and increases their value. We're considering a smart contract that locks NFTs for 1 year, returning them at a price of 1,000 $MM tokens per NFT. These tokens can be swapped for NFTs at the end of the year on a pro-rata basis. But, whenever these tokens are traded during the year, 5% of the tokens will go into a buyback pool. The buyback pool funds will be used to buy Monsters NFTs at floor prices on @Element_Market , and the NFT will be credited to the locked smart contract. For example: If 1,300 NFTs are put into the locked smart contract, generating 1,300,000 $MM tokens, and these tokens are traded 10 times in a year (pretty normal for token liquidity), 650,000 $MM tokens will be used to buy NFTs. This will lower the number of NFTs on the market by 650. At the same time, the price of $MM tokens will rise as the number of NFTs in locked smart contracts increases to 1,950, and every 1,000 tokens can be exchanged back for 1.5 NFTs. This means the token supply will keep decreasing, but the number of NFTs in locked smart contracts will go up. As a result, users can exchange more NFTs, making them more valuable, and the token price will also increase. Plus, the buyback pool keeps buying and locking NFTs, so the number of NFTs on the market will keep going down and their value will keep going up. What's more, the proposal also lets #MerlinMonster holders bring their friends into Monster world, even if they're not into NFTs or just want to play with tokens or memes. And the token has great liquidity, which helps with the current NFT liquidity issue. So, what do you think about this? Leave your ideas & share with your frens. M.M👹
