Looked up the 83-84 team that’s third on here. They didn’t lose a game in Jan. (11 wins, 2 ties) but got swept 3-0 by Quebec in the first round. They were 1-6-1 against the Nordiques in the reg season too.

@McDanielsSports @buffalocharging @PGreggy Getting access to the arena in Cleveland would be tough unless Dan Gilbert is involved. I feel like Cincinnati is perfect for the NLL. They already support their ECHL team well so I think the NLL can work.

@buffalocharging @PGreggy Totally fair to ask seen as I put it out there. Montreal, Portland, and here’s a random one…Cleveland. Cleveland has seen an influx in lax participation and I think they could be in the mix over the next 5 years for a team.

The Philadelphia Wings SHOCK the Buffalo Bandits and Banditland. The Wings take down the Buffalo Bandits 13-11. The Bandits have now lost 4 games in a row for the first time since 2018. The Wings earn their first win in Buffalo since February 15th, 2020.

There was obviously a time (15 years ago) where the Bills games weren’t broadcast on WGR, but I don’t ever recall the Sabres not being on WGR and I read they were also leaving. Kinda interesting.

@Schopptalk Sure some fans sold their season tickets but they have such a low season ticket holder number that a bunch of the Habs fans probably bought when the schedule was released. Saturday night easy buy for Canadians I’m sure

I've been in on a Sabres season ticket-holder group for most of the last 20 years. The playoffs are THE POINT, and as we all know for 14 straight years they fell short. Some will sell, but far more Sabres fans will be in there. Again, last night mattering at all was unforeseen.

They came in a variety of colors and styles over the years, but I have always been a huge fan of the Yorkville and other brand helmet wrist bands. Which were a big part of the 1980s and 90s football uniform aesthetic. Who else had some as a kid?

November 14, 1998 the Tennessee Oilers announced that they would play as the Titans starting in 1999. Initially many were bewildered by the choice, but it seemingly grew on the local fans as the years went by. Other finalists were the Pioneers and Tornadoes, with Copperheads and Stars also given some thought. I think the biggest issue with the Titans is it was always hard to depict the name in logo form.
