@MilFireDept & @MilwaukeePolice were challenged by @MayorMKE to engage in the @BloodCenterWI's Battle of the Badges Blood Donation Contest yesterday! Proud to say we won, but better we ALL won, especially those who will receive life-saving blood from the many donations!

@milwaukeedpw @MayorMKE This can oftentimes be miserable and thankless work! Water and freezing temps don't mix well - @MilFireDept cannot do our work without these incredible individuals. THANK YOU from us as well!

@MayorMKE joined Commissioner Kruschke & Superintendent Pauly to thank Water Works crews for their work this winter. After freezing temps and wind chills near -40, crews responded to more water main breaks & leaks, working in extreme conditions to keep Milwaukee's water flowing.

Thank you to everyone who donated blood yesterday during our MFD vs. MPD Battle of the Badges Blood Drive. Your donations can potentially save up to 96 of our local residents in need of blood. This is a win for everyone in our City and we couldn't be prouder of the outcome.
