@RochdaleFan This is such a ridiculous argument. “They didn’t even look at it until dale went in front”. Yeah coz dales second goal was literally a result of the pitch being rubbish. And then when they tested it at the end the ball didn’t bounce or roll? How do you expect a game to carry on?

Absolutely pathetic this. The pitch wasn’t in a great condition at the time of the abandonment, but so wasn’t it when Southend was winning 1 nil. Ridiculous to call it off with only 13 or so minutes left. Antics from Southend players and Maher was embarrassing too. #RAFC
