Fifth grade students are being recognized for making positive choices! Students who demonstrated responsibility & respect earned time in the STEAM room, where they took part in hands-on activities that encouraged creativity, teamwork & problem solving. 🌟 #MVPride

TAG students at Missouri Valley Elementary celebrated National Engineering Week by designing and launching straw rockets in a hands-on challenge inspired by NASA! Students tested different sizes and shapes to see how design impacts distance and stability. 🚀 #MVPride

MV athletes delivered an outstanding performance at the Special Olympics State Basketball competition! 🏀 Emma Mass earned 4th place in Basketball Skills & Holden Kratky set a personal record with 91 dribbles in one minute. Thank you, coaches Josh York & Tiffani York! #MVPride

Missouri Valley Elementary TAG students combined engineering and Valentine’s Day fun by designing and building candy-launching catapults! Using simple materials, they tested different designs and adjusted for candy size, shape, and weight. 💝 #MVPride

March is Music in Our Schools Month, and we’re proud to highlight our amazing student musicians! 🎷🎻🎼 Music education prepares the brain for achievement and helps students develop skills they will carry with them for a lifetime. #MVPride #MioSM

Third grade students combined coding and creativity by programming Finch robots with micro to draw colorful geometric designs. This hands-on project built problem-solving skills and showed that coding can be both functional and fun! 🤖🎨 #MVPride

Partners in Reading brings families into classrooms to learn reading strategies that support early literacy. 📚 Each event also shares info about our Title I program and how we partner with families to help every reader grow! #MVPride
