Please can coaches (mainly football) stop telling their players to not play for their school in a variety of sports as they need to be “rested” for their training session / match or that school sport has “no value”… it’s embarrassing that this is still happening in 2022 🤔🤷‍♂️

We’ve got a mock moderation organised with local schools after half term; I’ve been asked to run a 45 min Basketball session. Has anyone experience of this and can point me in the right direction of some good drills or exercises suitable for GCSE students? 🏀

@MrHeslingPE 3v2v1 works nicely. 3 attackers perform a 3 person weave to half way, 2 defenders then engage & the 3 attackers play 3v2. The attacker who takes the shot immediately drops back to defend against the 2 that were defending creating a 2v1. The other 2 stay to defend the next attack.

Well done to both our Year 7s and Year 10s on their County Cup wins against Felpham School and Oriel High 🙌🙌 The 7s won 3-2 with goals from Charlie J Jack L & Henry M. The 10s won 4-3 after being 2-0 down! #teamblatch #blatchfootball
