JUST NOW: Pierre Poilievre criticizes the media for constantly harping on him for his “plans” Meanwhile, Mark Carney has been Prime Minister for a year and we still don’t know his. Nobody questions his or if it will work or is sustainable. Enough of the two tiered journalism.

It’s time for Prime Minister @MarkJCarney to join me and millions of our fellow Canadians in supporting the appointment of Don Cherry to the Order of Canada, one of our nation’s highest honours. This shouldn’t even be up for debate. Don Cherry is a Canadian icon, a hockey legend and is loved by Albertans. He’s not just one of the greats, his word and opinion about our national sport is still treated as hockey gospel by millions of Canadians. His contributions to Canadian sport and culture are undeniable, and the work he did to honour our nation’s veterans was an invaluable contribution to our country. He will forever hold a special place in the hearts of Canadians. So, put the puck in the net and give Grapes the recognition he deserves. Read the full story here: calgaryherald.com/opinion/column…

This is shocking! We now know the Chief Science Advisor of Canada was not even consulted before the closures of Canada's agricultural research centres and experimental farms were announced. These centres delivered generational crop science, soil research, and livestock innovation that underpins Canada's food security and helped farmers feed Canadians. This government didn't just make the wrong decision; it made it recklessly and without the advice of its own experts.

A pattern of cover-ups and secrecy by the Carney Liberals. First, Canadians learned through media questions that an Iranian missile strike hit a base in Kuwait where Canadian Forces were stationed. The government said nothing until it was exposed more than 11 days later. As if it were an excuse, Prime Minister Carney said yesterday when pressed, "Well, I'm not the only spokesperson for the government." And now we learn 60+ Canadian soldiers suffered frostbite during Arctic training, and the Liberals tried to cover that up too, misleading Canadians about the number and severity of injuries. Our troops deserve a government that tells Canadians the truth and has their backs. Instead, this Liberal government covers up and hides, hoping nobody will notice. Mark Carney must take responsibility, do his job, and be upfront with Canadians.

Dias hits it. Canada has put itself on the sidelines of global energy security for too long. The country is waking up - like Germany and the UK now - with steep industrial decline and a bad Davos hangover from drinking the climate action kool-aid. In Canadas case this was especially dumb because shutting down pipelines from Alberta was an attack on the largest pool of democracy-based energy assets. Giving despotic states a global market advantage. While doing nothing for the planet. A lot of people in Ottawa - still isolated from the real world in govt jobs funded with debt - still haven’t connected the dots. Canada can be the single wealthiest per capita nation in the planet. Being poorer and less globally relevant than we were a decade ago is a choice. A bad one.
Richard Dias@RichardDias_CFA

The World consumes 105 million barrels of oil per day. The People and Parties that spent a decade trying to convince Canadians that crude oil was dead should be mocked and vilified. Canada has a strategic opportunity and a moral imperative to exploit its natural resources.

When sentencing for crimes in Canada is determined by skin color there’s a big problem. And if anyone’s paying attention, this is happening at an alarming rate within our judicial system.

Canadian bases in Kuwait were attacked on March 1st and the Liberals suppressed the information for 11 days. This Government cannot be trusted.

It's absolutely appalling to find out that Iran attacked a Canadian armed forces base in Kuwait and Mark Carney didn't even give Canadians the respect and decency to tell us that, he kept it a secret. On top of that no retaliation and didn't acknowledge it happened.. what utter disrespect to Canadians

BREAKING: Canadian Natural Resources, one of the largest independent crude oil and natural gas producers in the world, will PAUSE their $8.25 billion oil sands mine project because of "regulatory uncertainty". According to them, the federal industrial carbon tax has created "uncertainty and economic burden for a long-term growth investment." The truth is, anti-development Liberal laws are still in place and continue to push investors and builders to other countries with clearer rules and more predictability. Conservatives will repeal anti-development Liberal laws like the federal industrial carbon tax to make Canada self-reliance, sovereignty, united, and affordable.

Marc Nixon@MarcNixon24

‼️MAJOR BREAKING: The Liberals just tabled a $500 BILLION spending package… And somehow forgot to appoint a Parliamentary Budget Officer. The same office that audits government spending. Former watchdog Yves Giroux says it’s a “CONSCIOUS decision” to silence the office. 🫣

Canada lets the one guy assessing the federal govt spending disaster go - with no replacement. Third world fiscal accountability by a nation passing on record debt, deficits and economic decline to our kids. Gross negligence.
