The NFPRC Foundation convened a successful focused workshop in New Delhi on Enhancing Legislative Impact Through Digital Communications and Public Governance Tools on 30.03.2026. The discussions were practical, grounded, and centred on execution. Shri Vijay Kumar Bidhuri, IAS, spoke on making MPLADS/MLALADS local area development funds more outcome-oriented. Shri Mekala Chaitanya Prasad, IAS, spoke on strengthening the effectiveness of DISHA committees. The session was held in the presence of Shri Tarun Chugh, Chairperson, NFPRC Foundation. The workshop concluded with a discussion on digital tools and effective utilisation of social media platforms for legislators. The workshop saw active participation and meaningful exchanges. 2/ Jal Jeevan Mission extended to 2028 with a total outlay of ₹8.69 lakh crore. Tap water coverage has expanded from 3.23 crore rural households (17%) in 2019 to 15.8 crore (81.6%) today, targeting 19.36 crore households by 2028. Railway multitracking projects worth ₹4,474 crore will add 192 km capacity, benefiting 5,652 villages and 1.47 crore people.

We are pleased to share that our latest report, Securing India’s Critical Mineral Future: A Policy Blueprint for Resilience and Growth, was released at India Habitat Centre in collaboration with the Rashtram School of Public Leadership, Rishihood University (@RishihoodUni) The report was released in the presence of Smt. Meenakshi Lekhi (@M_Lekhi), Former Minister of State for External Affairs; Shri Shishir Priyadarshi (@priyadarshi_crf), President, Chintan Research Foundation; Shri Dheeraj Kumar, Former Deputy Secretary, Ministry of Mines; and Prof. Gautam Desiraju (@GautamDesiraju) , Rishihood University and IISc. The session was moderated by Prof. Shobhit Mathur(@shobweet), Vice Chancellor, Rishihood University. The report presents a structured policy roadmap to secure critical mineral supply chains and expand domestic processing capacity.
