Our head of chaplaincy Linda Peall retires today after five years at ESNEFT and a 20-year NHS career, to spend more time with her family, take in theatre trips to London, and photograph local wildlife and nature, as part of her pastime as an amateur naturalist. Good luck Linda!

Today we’re saying hello to the first babies born in 2024 in our hospitals 🏥 Keylie celebrated her 20th birthday by giving birth to her very own New Year’s Day baby, Theo, at 12.45pm at #IpswichHospital 💙 They’re pictured here with midwife Megan & student midwife Lauren 🧵

And at #ColchesterHospital baby Ocean was born at 8.29am. She’s pictured here with proud dad Grant. So far we’ve welcomed 3 babies at Ipswich & 5 at Colchester. Congratulations from us all & thank you to our maternity teams too, as well as all our staff who are working today 🫶
