It will happen. Isak( or most footballers) training all week in London, living in a Chelsea townhouse, having a world class city and all that entails on the doorstep solves problems that provincial cities and towns don't have answers to. Global football now means Miami, LA, Barcelona, Seville, Rome, Naples, Emirates ( many Saudi players commute into Saudi but live elsewhere), London compete with traditional football hotbeds. Those hotbeds mean everything to fans, very little to players who move often. So clubs have to either bribe them with more money, which works to a point ( Isak and MGW are both idolised and very well paod at their clubs, but both would leave without a trace tomorrow) or be creative. Living in London and playing in Newcastle nowadays suits everyone. Fan, owner ( United and Liverpool have large London offices to do business) and player. It WILL happen.

Big week of cricket for @WorsleyCC juniors with the U11 reaching the Lancashire Cup final, then beating Edgworth CC (league) on Wed. Finally Our U13 (& Flixton), beating top of the table Horwich, with Seb going top of the GMCL run scorers with his 5th (retired) 30* in a row!

Top effort from Seb and Max last night for @WorsleyCC U15s last night (Seb playing a year up, Max playing 2). Although we lost to a much older Prestwich team, Seb finished on 31, following his 30* on Sunday.

🚨RESULT🚨 The Wanderers won away at Whalley Range💪 We batted first with Riz getting 73 and Neil getting 48 to create a strong first innings🏏 Then we bowled them all out for 127 with 4 wickets for Owen Bolton and *somehow* Sanjay Patel took not just one but two catches🤯

🚨RESULTS🚨 The 1st XI game was abandoned whilst the 2s had strong starts, but their 100 run partnership left too many to chase🏏 Meanwhile the 3s had a great start with Caseys and Oscar before a collapse, but an equally strong bowling performance lead us to a comfortable win💪
