On this day in 1910, Paul Triquet was born in Cabano (Témiscouata-sur-le-Lac), Quebec. He was the only Quebecer to receive the Victoria Cross during the Second World War. He died in 1980. A statue of Triquet stands at the Valiants Memorial in Ottawa.

It’s not a straight shot to the far side of the Moon! 🌕 Over approximately 10 days, the Artemis II astronauts will orbit Earth twice before looping around the far side of the Moon in a figure eight and returning home.
