Offering us a loan of the Bayeux embroidery reminds us of the invasion and the way so many English were forced into serfdom by the Normans. It depicts the violent deaths of English soldiers.

I almost expect (or at least am not surprised by) Trump acting like an entitled toddler. What was scarier for me was the way that Vance is in there, egging Trump on and shit stirring (like he did in Munich). It blows away any pretence that this ends with Trump.

@AuschwitzMuseum I've not had the chance to visit Auschwitz (yet), but visited Dachau in 1998. We were three young, happy go lucky travellers and I remember us just sat in silence the evening after. Recognising pure evil is essential and I am glad @auschwitzmuseum is fighting that fight.
