Hearing About Jesus… Yet Missing the Gospel That Saves Today
There are many people today
who have heard the name of Jesus…
Who attend church
Who listen week after week
Who sincerely desire to know God…
And yet—
they have never clearly heard
the gospel that saves today.
This is not an attack.
This is a burden.
Because being near truth
is not the same as knowing it.
Hearing about Jesus
is not the same as believing the gospel.
We must slow down here…
Because God is not dealing with the world today
the way He did in times past.
There is a present dispensation—
a specific message for this age.
A message once hidden…
but now revealed.
“According to the revelation of the mystery…”
— Romans 16:25
This message was committed
to the apostle Paul—
not to replace the rest of Scripture,
but to clarify what God is doing today.
And what is that message?
What is the gospel
that saves today?
Not religion.
Not reformation.
Not self-improvement.
But a finished work.
“Christ died for our sins…
He was buried…
He rose again the third day…”
— 1 Corinthians 15:3–4
This is the gospel.
Complete.
Sufficient.
Unfinished by nothing.
Salvation today is not earned.
It is received.
“For by grace are ye saved through faith…
not of works…”
— Ephesians 2:8–9
Let that settle in.
Not of works.
Not by effort.
Not through religious performance.
And yet…
so many are taught to:
• Try harder
• Do better
• Clean themselves up
• Earn what God has already given freely
They are pointed to themselves—
instead of to the cross.
But the gospel does not say:
“Do your part.”
The gospel declares:
“It is finished.”
This is why clarity matters.
Because confusion keeps people striving
where they should be resting.
Working
where they should be trusting.
Doubting
where they should be assured.
So we speak.
Gently—
but clearly.
Boldly—
but lovingly.
Patiently—
but precisely.
We do not assume they understand.
We do not assume they have heard.
We do not assume clarity—
just because there is activity.
Instead, we point them again and again:
• To Christ crucified
• To the finished work
• To grace—without mixture
Because even in the churches—
There are hearts still searching.
Souls still unsure.
People still carrying burdens
Christ already paid for.
So let us be faithful.
To preach the gospel of grace.
To rightly divide the Word of truth.
To make the message plain.
Not adding to it.
Not softening it.
Not confusing it.
Just declaring it.
Clearly.
Simply.
Faithfully.
Because the gospel that saves today—
is still the power of God unto salvation.
And people need to hear it.
Even in the churches.

White House spiritual advisor Paula White shamelessly says the best way Christians can celebrate Easter is by making a sacrifice and giving her more money.
She says your money will be used to spread and defend her version of Christianity worldwide.
How much money are you going to donate to her?

Today we rejoice in the greatest truth ever revealed:
💥“Christ shed His blood and died for our sins… He was buried… and He rose again the third day for our justification.” (1 Corinthians 15:3–4 KJV)💥
Resurrection Sunday isn’t just a memorial of an event, it’s the celebration of a living Saviour who now gives us a living hope.
Through the apostle Paul, God shows us what the resurrection means for us right now:
✔️We are justified because He rose (Romans 4:25).
✔️We walk in newness of life because He lives (Romans 6:4).
✔️We have a future resurrection because He is the firstfruits
(1 Corinthians 15:20–23).
✔️We are secure in Him forever because nothing, not even death, can separate us from His love (Romans 8:38–39).
So our message today is simple but powerful:
The empty tomb is God’s declaration that the work is finished, the debt is paid, and life in Christ is ours forever.
Father,
We thank You for the risen Christ, our Saviour, our life, and our hope. As we remember His resurrection, strengthen our faith, steady our hearts, and help us walk worthy of the One who conquered death for us.
In Christ’s name, Amen.
