We are preparing performances of A Midsummers Night's Dream in our reading lesson today.

This week is Shakespeare week. We have been learning all about Shakespeare and have chosen to look at his famous play 'A Midsummer Nights Dream'. We have played lots of storytelling games to help us understand the story. We are now having a to at writing our own plays!

In English, we are writing information texts about Chinese New Year. We have traditional Chinese music on and have learned lots about the celebration🐲🇨🇳 @NorbridgeWrite

A dragon?! Some of our Year 6 children have used music and dance to parade the school as our Invention Week hook! This week, we will be writing about Chinese New Year and we can’t wait to see the writing children produce.

Today we kicked off the Chinese New Year celebrations with a surprise dragon parade, hung up our decorations and some of our super Serins came in traditional dress to celebrate their families culture with us all!🧧🇨🇳🐲🏮
