Growing up, all my friends were girls. My kindergarten teacher told my mom that I was socially delayed and not like the other boys because I only played with the girls. My mom's response was "What's wrong with that?" I grew up to be a happy gay man. Leave the children alone!

This was an era, the early 90's, when very few boys had one ear pierced let alone two...
I loved wearing small hoops, when all you were allowed were studs, and the report advised how confrontational I was when asked to remove them!!!

@NormalGayPsych From age 5, I liked dolls & dressing up, makeup, my mother’s jewelry. One grandmother made dresses for my dolls; the other made me dresses. That ended with puberty; I grew into a gay man comfortable being male. My dad said, ‘We let you be you!’ I was lucky.
