$RIVN The year is 2026 and Omar is actually honest with his Rivian R2 review. “One of the nicest EV options in the North American market.” ~ Tesla Super Bull Someone please wake me up. Fair review of the R2. Point to point comes at the end of the year so R2 will be the best overall package!! $tsla $lcid
Whole Mars Catalog@wholemars

Overall I found the Rivian R2 to be a delightful vehicle. One of the nicest EV options in the North American market. It’s the same SUV form factor you loved in the R1S, just more compact. Accerleration on the performance version is great, but nothing too crazy. Love the little haptic scroll wheels that give you physical feedback when you’ve reached the end of the list. And love the wireless phone charging pad with mag safe so that your phone wouldn’t slide around. Seats were very comfortable, would be great for long drives. Unfortunately the ADAS and other shortcomings are a dealbreaker for us. And the heft of the vehicle makes it not as fun to drive as a Tesla. Both my girlfriend and I agreed it couldn’t be a daily driver, but that we might consider it with FSD. But if you’ve wanted a Rivian type EV SUV but haven’t pulled the trigger because it’s out of your price range, the R2 may be for you. Rivian did a great job of packing lots of delightful little features in this vehicle, and i’m sure I would discover even more if I spent more than 15 minutes with it. Wishing them the best of luck on ramping this new product line.

@SnowballHustle @moregainzs But you short the pump so you clearly don’t short base on fundamental. So are you just gambling with the (non-based) idea that they don’t offer anything to the market?

@0xresurekt I think we could easily grind the bottom of the power law for a little while.

So you want to tell me the price reached the absolute bottom of the power law, but you still waited for a fictional bottom that was supposed to happen in October?

If bitcoin did bottom at $60,000, with a 50% drawdown. It may seem mental, but that is a huge win in the adoption curve moving forward. Even bottoming out at $50,000 is only a 60% drawdown, which is mild compared to history.

So easy to get rich in Canada. I used to convert C$ to get $US0.65 in the 1990s to buy US stocks I no longer need to convert any C$. The portfolio throws off more US$ than I need Being Canadian with C$ expenses & owning US investments & US casflow is a straight up superpower

@goingyogue @mweinbach @wholemars Do you think it is really better for the planet if we put into the equation the mining of ressources for the battery.

@mweinbach @wholemars I hope they do. The more competent EV makers we have the sooner the world transitions to cleaner Energy but based on current data I see Tesla in a league of its own followed by 10 other Chinese EV makers

Ok quick thoughts on Rivian R2 after a quick demo drive: - The woman doing the demo drive was fantastic and honest about the car - It feels far less premium than I was expecting. It feels cheap. It’s fine but cheap. The Model Y feels more premium. I would maybe expect it at $45-49K not really $57K. - Even in sport mode, the performance didn’t feel fast even if it was - The software is great. I love the look and feel. UX needs some tweaks for apps and settings and how you access it all but otherwise great - The drive reminded me of driving my mom’s Honda CRV or Subaru Outback. Its handling and whatnot is fine but didn’t feel like what I was expecting - The car just wasn’t what I was expecting. I still like it but less excited about it. My dad is probably going to cancel his reservation.

@Johnnyslesh So you think price is correlated to fundamental value with amc?

$AMC Just a subtle reminder that at every new price level as we ascend, there will be people who not only exit thinking they are getting the best value, but people who exit and try to convince you if you exit you’ll be getting the best value too. Understanding the company you’ve invested in, will allow you to discern right from wrong on the psychological level. That is why a lot of people exit before actually maximizing their gains because they failed to understand the company, which disabled them from discerning the psyop. There will be evaluation sequences as we reach new levels. If you understand the company and the game/market, you will see these sequences clearly, which gives you a better chance at securing financial freedom. It’s all on you. That should be something you’re glad about, not nervous about. This is you. This is your time

@420yooper69AMC I don’t think movie doing great vs not doing great is a good way to know if an investment is good or not. I would much focus on debt and cash burn if we want to concentrate on fundamental. On the technical side, I would want to see at least a weekly close above 2.38.

Monthly candles on $amc to give you an idea on where the price is now when the movies are doing great and where the price was when the movies weren’t doing so great. I’m not a financial advisor but I’d think AMC is severely undervalued #AMC not financial advice
