"Sometimes we don’t walk away from God—we just drift. Not all at once, but little by little. Fatigue sets in. Routine replaces passion. Familiarity dulls what once stirred us deeply. And before we know it, we are not as alert, not as sensitive, not as awake as we once were. Which is why Easter matters.
The resurrection of Jesus Christ is not simply the conclusion of the gospel story; it is the ignition point of a global awakening."

In the February White Wing Messenger, Bishop Rogelio and Flor Justiniano reflect on nearly four decades of marriage and ministry together—sharing how putting God first, family second, and ministry third has sustained a joyful and lasting union.
Reflecting on Scripture and their rich Filipino cultural values, they highlight essentials like mutual submission, understanding, patience, forgiveness, shared responsibility, and gratitude for life’s simple joys.
Their story reminds us that while no marriage is perfect, a Christ-centered marriage can grow stronger through every season. Read the full article in the February White Wing Messenger or by clicking the link below:

Spirit and Life Seminary (SLS) is pleased to announce that on September 9, 2025, it received official notification from the Tennessee Higher Education Commission confirming its approval to participate in the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA).
NC-SARA is a private, nonprofit organization [501(c)(3)] that works to expand students’ access to educational opportunities while ensuring more consistent and effective regulation of distance education programs across the United States. More than 2,400 institutions in 49 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands currently participate in SARA through partnerships with four regional compacts.
“Up until receiving approval from NC-SARA, Spirit and Life Seminary had been authorized to enroll students from 22 states. With participation in NC-SARA, we can now enroll students from across the United States, effectively doubling our reach within the nation,” said Spirit and Life Seminary President Dr. Micheal Hernandez. “Up until now, SLS was authorized to serve students in 22 states. We are excited that all COGOP ministers and leaders within the U.S. can now participate in the Ministry and Theological Studies program offered by SLS!”
The announcement comes on the heels of Spirit and Life Seminary being granted accredited status by the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (TRACS). SLS currently offers the Certificate in Ministry and Theological Studies, and the Bachelor of Ministry and Theological Studies transfer program.
SLS exists to provide theologically sound and practically focused educational programs designed to equip leadership and ministry within the Church of God of Prophecy to fulfill Christ’s mission and impact the world.

As youth camps begin around the world, we pause to give thanks for the visionaries who prayerfully pioneered this ministry in our movement. In her book "Dew Drops," Elva Howard shares the inspiring story of how God birthed the first Church of God of Prophecy youth camp in Story, Wyoming, in 1951—a dream that began in the heart of a young woman longing to see her generation experience God in a powerful way.
“It is still amazing to me how God works,” Elva reflects, “but I have learned through His Word when He purposes to work, nothing or no one can stop it.” In a time when few young people were engaged in church life, she sensed a deep calling to provide a space for youth to worship, grow, and fellowship. The idea first stirred during a family camping trip in the mountains, where the natural beauty stirred her spirit, “The smell of the woods… the singing of the birds gave me a spiritual sense of being. I felt God in His creations.”
With humble means and deep faith, Elva, her family, and a small group of supporters began preparations for the first camp. Meat was donated by local hunters, fish gathered from nearby lakes, and baked goods prepared and frozen in anticipation. “To me, this was God supplying our need,” she wrote, describing the joy of watching tub after tub of fish being collected.
On August 5, 1951, the gates of the Presbyterian Campground in Story, Wyoming, opened to a group of eager and uncertain young people. “They didn’t know what it was all about,” Elva remembers, “but they were there. Before the week was over, just like all succeeding camps, the blessings had fallen.”
Campers worshipped beside mountain streams, shared meals, sang around the fire, and even witnessed baptisms in the cool, clear brook. “That laughing brook had many purposes,” she wrote, “for it was here…that many, who during the week had allowed the Lord Jesus Christ into their lives, followed the officiating minister into a meaningful baptismal service.”
As we prayerfully anticipate this year’s camp season, may we do so with gratitude for those who obeyed God’s call in seasons past. “Camp was now a reality—my dream had come true!” Elva concluded. “My dream was to fill a need for this group. I was praising God that He had heard my prayer and was filling a need, and this was a beginning.”
Let us believe again, as she did, that God still desires to meet young hearts in sacred spaces—under starlit skies, beside laughing brooks, and in holy moments of surrender. May this camp season be marked by His presence.

@LeeU and the @CogopOfficial International Offices have officially entered into a new strategic partnership to strengthen educational opportunities for COGOP students and deepen the long-standing relationship between the two institutions. The agreement was formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed on May 23, 2025.
The partnership designates Lee University as the preferred institution for COGOP high school graduates seeking in-person Christian higher education. It also provides a range of initiatives including targeted recruitment, enhanced student engagement, campus chapel collaborations, internship access for the ministries of the International Offices, and recognition of ministerial training for academic credit.
A key component of the agreement includes the provision of an annual $3,000 scholarship for credentialed ministers, bishops, and their dependents who attend Lee University on campus. Verification of eligibility will be conducted through the Office of the Presiding Bishop.
Dr. Paul Conn, president of Lee University, said, "We are so pleased that Bishop Coalter and his leadership team are joining with Lee University in this collaboration. We believe it will be a wonderful way for us to develop stronger ties with Church of God of Prophecy families and students. We have had many wonderful students, over many years, from this sister denomination, and we are committed to serve more of them, with even greater effectiveness, as a result of this exciting new partnership.
Presiding Bishop Tim Coalter expressed gratitude for the expanded opportunities this collaboration brings. “We deeply appreciate the opportunity this partnership creates for our ministers and their families. Through generous support from Lee University, the path to higher education becomes more accessible for our credentialed ministers' children. At the same time, this agreement allows our ministries to maintain an intentional presence on campus, keeping COGOP students connected to their spiritual roots and our church family. We are excited about what this means for the future of our young people and the Kingdom work ahead.”
Additional elements of the agreement include Lee University’s participation at the biennial COGOP International Assembly, promotional collaboration across digital and print channels, and the appointment of an advisory committee to ensure ongoing collaboration and success.
More details will be forthcoming. For more information about these institutions, visit leeuniversity.edu or cogop.org.

“What a blessing this valuable material is,” National Bishop Edgar Rossini, Spain and Portugal
We were deeply encouraged to receive this message from Bishop Rossini, who recently received Spanish-language copies of the new "We Are the Church of God of Prophecy" booklet in Spain:
“Today I had the joy of receiving the booklets prepared exclusively for the Church of God of Prophecy. We have already distributed the first ones at the new church in Alicante — what a blessing this valuable material is! This Saturday, I will be ministering in the Aragón community in Zaragoza, where we will continue sharing these resources. We are also planning to distribute them throughout Spain and in Italy as part of our ongoing efforts.”
This booklet helps congregations across the globe understand who we are, what we believe, and how we serve in unity as one church in many nations. It’s a vital tool for discipleship, connection, and identity. Help us continue to translate, print, and distribute this resource in all 139 languages of our global church.
Give today to the All Nations Fund by selecting “Give” at cogop.org. Together, let’s share the wonderful works of God with every nation, tongue, and tribe.

This week on the Sound Doctrine Podcast, we revisit the 1985 International Assembly to hear a powerful message from former General Overseer Sam N. Clements, titled “The Issue of the Heart.” At the time, Bishop Clements was pastor to then General Overseer M.A. Tomlinson, at the Peerless Road COGOP in Cleveland, Tennessee.
Preaching from Hebrews 3 and 2 Corinthians 5, Brother Clements drew a vivid comparison between physical open-heart surgery and the spiritual need for a new heart. He warned that miracles alone don’t change people—only transformed hearts do. Even Israel, fed daily by God’s hand, turned to unbelief and idolatry.
With bold clarity, he called for a revival not of programs or appearances, but of the heart. “Impure hearts, even with right doctrine, will fail,” he warned. Clements urged the Church to stop its carnal pursuits and return to God with sincerity, humility, and love.
