Return update: They have made excellent time and think they will arrive about 6:00pm!

@HeidTim @gsmitremont Haven't gotten any. There is NO cell service there and their wifi is down as well. Sorry.

The 8th graders are en route from Gatlinburg back to Louisville. They expect to arrive in the PCS parking lot around 6:45pm.

Got word our 8th graders made it to the Great Smoky Mountains Institute at Tremont (@gsmitremont) safe and sound!

Hiked about 2 miles today roundtrip to a beautiful waterfall. These brave souls endured the cold water Tremont challenge!

Great day! Learned about stream physics and caught and examined stream life. Birds of prey and astronomy tonight!

Arrived at Tremont a bit ago. Unloaded and unpacked. All safe and sound.

Gas in Maryville. On the road again! Tremont here we come.

Restroom stop in Corbin. All doing well.
