@paleoAldo Recuerdo del Museo Nacional de Bruselas: en la recepción me preguntaron "¿a dónde va ud? " yo: "soy científico visitante y vine a revisar colecciones". Me miraron de los pies a la cabeza y me dicen "no pareces científico". Pero si, allá hay un estándar.

The fossil fishes from the Pucking #Lagerstätte includes fantastic specimens, but most of then remains undescribed in private collections like these fossil #Marlins. We hope that this specimen is not lost as has happened with many Istiophorid fossil material in the past.

To the moment it is not well established which is the earliest fossil record of #marlins (Istiophoridae) due to the lack of #fossil evidence, specially from the Early Miocene and Oligocene.
