@maubaron You bluntly correct with your analysis. To get some results we need initial capital no matter how little. Doing freelancing is one way to get this initial cash you need if you aren't working a job. My guess the best way to get initial cash..

making $10k/month with mobile apps PROFITABLY has never been easier i'm 24 years old and i've never had a real job in my entire life BUT that doesn't mean i didn't take on multiple freelance opportunities to get cash that was the only way i made it through years of no results the reason i mention it is because if you can get at least $5k in your bank account ready to spend on marketing trust me you will be set for life! all you need to do is to make and launch that mobile app in a couple of days then with the money you saved up you either - make an obscene amount of content then do paid ads - you hire a bunch of creators then do paid ads - you hire influencers THEN do paid ads PAID ADS WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE but for this you ofc need cash so if there's something that will ACTUALLY make you succeed in the space it's not making 10 apps it's not doing a bunch of research it's not ASO it's INVESTING in marketing so do whatever it takes to get that cash

We just ranked a B2C SaaS brand inside ChatGPT. • $620K in revenue • 845% traffic growth • All in 9 months This is the biggest SEO opportunity since Google, and no one’s talking about it. Buyers are rapidly moving to AI search platforms. If you're not ranking in ChatGPT and Claude, your competitors are stealing your clicks. I documented our entire process: • How we turned 185 daily clicks into 1,750+ without touching paid ads • Step-by-step breakdown of how we structure pages for both humans and search engines • The internal linking system that quietly boosts rankings across your entire site • The “non-branded domination” strategy that captures buyers before they know you exist • The exact optimization layer that gets your brand cited inside tools like ChatGPT • How to build topical authority without spamming 100 random blog posts This is the only guide you need to unlock LLM SEO for your brand. Want the full playbook? 1. Like + follow 2. Comment “LLM” I’ll send it to you

github.com/mattpocock/ski… 30k+ stars already from a very trusted dev @mattpocockuk This repo includes super important stuff like: → tdd (red-green-refactor loop) → triage-issue (find root cause + fix plan) → git guardrails (blocks dangerous commands) → zoom-out (understand unfamiliar codebases) this is what people mean by having a “ good setup”

I thought my AI setup was solid… It wasn’t. I went through Matt Pocock’s actual .claude directory on GitHub… and realized I was missing half the system. Not prompts. The setup behind how the model actually works. Skills. Config. Guardrails. this is why some sessions just work and others turn into 2 hours of fixing things Repo in the comments ↓

If you’re brave enough to build a startup, here’s what you should know Day 90: One of the hardest truths in startups: Your idea is usually not the most valuable thing about you. The team, the market, and the speed of progress matter more.

Day 52. I miss doing sales. Not the preparation, not the strategy, not the positioning. The actual moment when you're on a call with someone and you can feel them going from skeptical to genuinely interested. That shift. That's the part that gets me. I've spent the last two months doing discovery calls framed as learning conversations and they've been valuable. But I've been hiding behind the "I'm just here to learn" framing because it's safer than actually pitching something and getting told no. That changes this week. I have an offer. I have warm contacts. The next call I get on is a sales call whether I label it that or not. The adrenaline bro, I miss it. I need that feeling back. 🌊

AI doesn't solve one fundamental issue: laziness Despite being so easy to build with AI (compared to what we had 3 years ago), people are still lazy, even more than before. the bar is so low AI is a great tool, but if you dont put in the effort to build your app, create the product, sell, do marketing, you have nothing. Execution is still hard. creating slop is solved Software is not solved yet

The next great founder isn't who you expect. They're building something weird in their home right now. No fancy degree. No connections. Little followers count. Just pure obsession with an idea that keeps them up at night. I'm looking for them.

My SaaS is finally getting traction Gaining 3-8 new users a day (90% from SEO traffic) + I just received an offer to sell it for $200,000 that I'll likely refuse Because I believe it can reach $6,000,000 ARR in 2-3 years 200k won't change my life. 6M will do!

10 mistakes that kill most products early: • Building before validating the idea • Targeting everyone instead of a niche • Ignoring distribution until launch • Overbuilding features no one asked for • No clear problem being solved • Pricing too late or too low • Not talking to real users • Chasing trends instead of real pain • No landing page or waitlist • Quitting before real feedback comes Most startups don't fail from lack of code. They fail from lack of clarity.

I made no money in my first 90 days on X. But that didn't stop me. A year later: • built a personal brand of 2000 followers • generating income beyond my paycheck • running a solo business in a few hours a day You won't know what's possible until you try it yourself.

Being a solo vibe coder is brutal. You gotta build the damn thing, write the copy, fix the bugs, and somehow convince strangers to pay. Most days people just vibe code instead.
