Genuinely such a good movie, however, rewatching it a couple days ago I noticed that this movie just does NOT care about orbital mechanics at all, or it has absolutely ridiculously efficient engines that run on magic

I always thought "My gods, why do missiles cost so much?"
Then I got to work on a couple of parts, with the engineers who showed me larger parts of the assembly (like this) and immediately realized that they are sort of a bargain. The engineering going on inside a modern guided missile is absolute insanity. If you've ever taken apart an iPhone, imagine that level of component packaging, and make it huge.
Oh, and everything needs to be over engineered. Yes, it is a "one time use" item, but to get it to the point of use, it needs to get carted around. It lives on the back of some sort of vehicle getting beaten up, or hanging from the pylon of a fighter aircraft. Often for months/years or alert duty cycles.
My favorite was going down the rabbit hole of the Stinger missile, and just what a bonkers idea it is to put a radar and heat seeker into a man-portable system. The big coffee can battery pack, single use chillers - the Stinger put electrical, mechanical, and every chemical engineering bleeding-edge tech out.
Or how the original Sidewinders powered their guidance system with a literal water wheel in the airstream to generate power while on the pylon.
Shame it is all secretive.

soviet R-60 "aphid", this is the head for infrared homing & guidance system, this is the earliest version nicknamed "komar" and it was uncooled, had to be fired at the rear of an enemy to latch onto the engine heat

Gamers should never have been taught what a game engine is
Lezmark@TheWesternCat
@ShitpostRock My money is on the game engine, and it seems that doesn't support voices overs in a very fundamental level, they probably never expected they'll be using this limited 3ds Engine for so long but alas we are here, peak game development btw.
