Meet the team! Introducing Hairui Wang (@Harry001004), PhD Student on our team at @IRSantPau. Originally from Shandong (China), he spent 7 years in Beijing completing his Bachelor’s and Master’s. Outside the lab, he enjoys hiking and music 🎧. Glad to have him on the team!

Visibility is the first step forward 🙌 To mark #RareDiseaseDay, we held a #CADASIL awareness and outreach event at @HospitalSantPau with @CadasilEspana, focusing on raising understanding and supporting research as the way to move ahead.

Our PI @israelcadenas1 and @LaiaLlucia, predoctoral researcher in our group, took part in #BiostrokeMeeting2026 🧠 Israel presented the International Stroke Genetics Consortium, of which we are part, and connected with other members of the Stroke team at @IRSantPau .

🎢🔬 For #InternationalDayofWomenandGirlsinScience, our group ran a DNA workshop at @parctibidabo, extracting DNA from a fruit 🍓 and showing little curious minds that science can be fun & inspiring ✨. Thanks to @IRSantPau, @CADASIL_Gen, @laiamarine & @Franco_Appiani
