I might be delusional here lol, don’t think it was @charlieputh’s intention at all, but my brain immediately goes to Green Grove Zone Act 2 (Saturn version of Sonic 3D Blast) when I hear Washed Up. Same 90s VGM synth piano caribbean jazz pop vibe + similar key/chords/progression.

Beat Yourself Up has the vocoder outro on CD, and vinyl has less adlibs with the addition of chorus lead vocal in final chorus
