🚨🇮🇷 Iran's IRGC claims it downed a U.S. MQ-1 Predator drone that entered the airspace over its territorial waters in a "hostile operation" early this morning. Treat this with caution for one specific reason. The MQ-1 Predator was retired by the U.S. Air Force back in 2018, replaced by the MQ-9 Reaper. So either Iran misidentified the drone, it was an older or foreign operated platform, or the claim does not hold up as stated. It also fits a pattern. Iran claimed a similar shootdown near Bushehr days ago, which CENTCOM flatly denied, saying all U.S. air assets were accounted for. No U.S. confirmation yet. Source: Tabz on TG / Tasnim News
