I had a friend in high school who started failing his classes after The Two Towers came out on DVD because he watched it fifty times in as many days and would space out in class playing the entire movie in his head, frame for frame.

i know so many parents whose kids watch Frozen or some other movie literally every day, for months at a time feels like this was not a thing among kids in the 90s obviously pressing 'play' is so easy, but rewinding a VCR isn't hard either what explains?

@twistandtwizzle as far as i know neither of them competed in ice dance so they just learned patterns for shits and gigs i guess???

@fsstan15 @swizzletilde I’ve coached learn to skate on that ice. It’s always too warm and often puddles on the ice. The competitive skaters are only there a couple times a week.

@swizzletilde It’s crazy because I’ve been to this rink and it’s so small and bad, IDK why elite skaters would train there instead of one of the many Olympic and NHL sized rinks in Edmonton
