Madden beat the hell out of every other football game that ever dropped. Sure there was some cool things in some games. Madden was always ahead and was the standard. Idk why anyone tries to rewrite history. They want it to be a 2K vs NBA Live situation and its so far from that.

@ProblemWright You were too young to understand. When 2k first dropped 2k sports on Dreamcast. Seganet was first online console gaming. Shit was different back then. EA sports was king until 2k sports showed up on Dreamcast. But the 2k sports today isnt the same as it was back then.

2k was a cool competitor. Madden 05 is a damn classic tho and clears so easy. This wasnt a matchup outside of the presentation with Berman n ESPN. 2K3 was better than Madden 03 IMO. Thats the only year they won IMO. Madden was smoking all football games at that time including 2K.

-LOVE the setups you can do on D that are pre-saved. Game changing.
-New catching is a good idea, I like it rather than everyone always getting the best animation possible with one button.
- If we are gonna have abilities, I love tier abilities.

Vick for a few reasons. First, teams were way slower. You would be lucky to find a player or two with 88 spd in your front 7. Vick was 95 spd. Second, you codnt contain or spy whoever you wanted on the field. Defensive adjustments were super basic.

@NickMizesko It shouldve been implemented. Early mcs days there were players that claimed it was hard to stream or whatever, its so easy now and its best for everyone involved. Mcs gets to rebroadcast games, community gets to watch etc.
