@tommartell @drewlevin @zchalex I understand. I don’t know if I would call it niche. We do not have direct data for North America, China or Korea but we know have some for the European Union. I did not study it enough yet to draw conclusion though at the moment. And I agree all forms of toxicity matter.

Boosting, pings, in game toxicity, etc. are all issues that degrade the experience for many, many players and Riot has historically struggled to address them appropriately, so they are engaging publicly. Death threats and direct harassment are clearly not allowed and are relatively niche issues. I would also expect them to address this mostly in private.

Why would a company want to keep criminals in its environment? I keep asking Drew because he is a very vocal and present on X.

Because I am amazed by what seems to be the priorities of Riot: banning people for excessive pings, boosting, etc. While I don’t see the same dedication to fight criminal behaviour.

I can provide the references for Canada and the UK if needed. That’s why I talked about the burden of proof.
