But they have to resort to cheating when things don’t go their way. So for their club-captain and manager to come out after the game and bemoan the referee - and for that to dominate the media narrative - rather than the brilliance of Leeds United and their tactics is a stunning display of entitlement and faux-injustice. The ref gave a goal which clearly should have been ruled out with only 5 minutes on the clock. The red card after 56 mins meant that we had one man fewer for the next 41. The ref only added 7 mins, played less than 3.5!! Of course refereeing decisions were a huge factor.
