The City of Round Rock loves to say data centers bring in big tax $ but require few city services and rarely have emergencies. Sabey Data Center already had a fire that caused $2,000,000 in damage & emitted carcinogens and toxic fumes into the air and Brushy Creek.

Engaged citizens came to the Round Rock Library on Super Bowl Sunday to make signs for the rally & public hearing for proposed rezoning for a data center at 2601 E Old Settlers. Our residents care about what happens here and WE DON’T WANT YET ANOTHER DATA CENTER. @roundrock

The 1st image shows the City’s uninspired public hearing notice for the proposed rezoning at 2601 E Old Settlers Blvd for a data center. The second shows our informational postcard. Which actually informs residents about what’s going on? @roundrock @CraigMMorgan @impactnews_rph

Despite this, the City of Round Rock insists there’s plenty of water to support adding more data centers to the 8 already operating, under construction, or approved! Join the fight at protectroundrock.org

If there's plenty of water to support nine data centers in Round Rock*, why is there a need for a $500K study to "find solutions for future water shortages"? *As publicly stated by the City of Round Rock at the City Council meeting, 12/4/25. kut.org/energy-environ…

Round Rock, TX, already has 8 data centers approved, operational, or under construction. Help us stop the next one that's on the table for Old Settlers Blvd east of AW Grimes, abutting multiple residential neighborhoods. Join the right at protectroundrock.org.
