Local bus routes have declined by 50 percent since 2010 because the Tories have cut them. In Bramley & Stanningley, we have seen the awful results of Tory cuts to our bus services. It’s time for real change with Labour so we can travel to work and school cheaply and reliably.

Unfortunately our candidate Riaz Ahmed was 159 votes short of a win, our warmest congratulations to Councillor Trish Smith on retaining her seat. Riaz fought a brilliant campaign reducing the Conservative majority by a significant amount.

2 MILLION people do not have the ID needed to vote. But just 63,000 people had applied for a free Voter ID certificate in time for yesterday's deadline. That's exactly what the Tories hoped would happen. This is what voter suppression looks like.

We have come across several people who haven't got Voter ID in Pudsey. Including a recently married teacher Driving licence at DVLA for change of name and maiden name on Passport.

Since 2010 , the Conservatives have cut 20,000 front line police officers nationally.  Our Labour Mayor for West Yorkshire will recruit 338 new police officers and staff , and 566 new PCSOs, to make up for the huge Conservative cuts to community policing.

Since the Conservative and Lib Dem Coalition in 2010, Leeds City Council has had £2.3 billion cut.  The scale and effect of these cuts cannot be overestimated. Massive cuts have been made to neighbouring authorities too. Vote LABOUR on May the 4th, protect your local services.
