One HomePod was replaced on the spot with a working unit. Apple called this morning saying the second HomePod was ready to swap. Went in and swapped and the rewplacement unit is bricked. Pretty sure it was the one I returned last night.

Had to get in the phone with a senior advisor to get “cs codes”. After those were issued, the store was able to process the exchange free of charge.
