Last week as part of @BookPaisley, we had fantastic author sessions from @tompalmerauthor & @ConaghanAuthor. Thank you to the authors and everyone who helped make the sessions possible!

The Library launched its Scotland x Japan Pen Pal programme yesterday. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇯🇵 Students received their first handwritten letters from their Japanese partner, and started writing their own back. A big thanks to Mr. & Mrs. Ito for coming in and telling students about life in Japan!

Exciting day in the library! we've had a load of lovely, brand new books delivered that are ready to be checked out and read for the first time.📚

Yesterday as part of #EmpathyDay, S1 pupils met with pupils from @StAndrews_Lib and @library_pgs at the new Paisley Central Library. They delivered presentations on what they love about reading, and how it can help build empathy and improve mental health.

Yesterday we had the pleasure of welcoming illustrator and comic book artist @neilslorance to the school as part of the @BookPaisley. Students took part in a drawing workshop and created their own comic strips with tips from Neil!

We've had students choosing books from iconic women writers to celebrate Women's History Month this March.
