Great to be in Geneva for The WHO-INN meeting

On #internationalwomensday it was a proud moment at #UTAR convocation for my DSc(Hons) to celebrate the fact that the Australian foreign minister, Ms Penny Ying-Yen Wong, was born in Malaysia and is now the longest serving female cabinet minster in Australia's history.

During my convocation speech in front of 2000 graduates and their families I took the opportunity to highlight the strong links between #malaysia and #australia with The Australian High Commission represented along with other Ambassadors and Embassies.

A most humbling experience to receive the Honorary Doctor of Science from Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) University, where I have been adjunct professor for over 15 years. This honour was the first to be afforded a non-Malaysian in the University's history.
