Thinking about AI, robotics & what the world becomes. First principles. Long arcs. Building in the middle of it

the gap between sci-fi and reality is engineering

The interface keeps getting simpler. And somehow deeper. First it was command lines. Then the OS. Then the browser swallowed the OS suddenly it didn't matter if you had Windows or Mac, Chrome was the real operating system. Then something weirder happened. One website inside that browser started doing everything. I open Claude, and I don't leave. To-do lists, code, strategy, writing... it's all in there. But here's what nobody is saying: the interface isn't just getting more powerful. It's getting more human. We went from typing commands... to clicking... to tapping... to talking. Voice is the next interface. Not because it's convenient. Because thinking is faster than typing, and the interface is finally catching up to the speed of thought. We are at the edge of something. And most people haven't even noticed yet.
