Laughter, and eager hearts filled the room as storytelling sparked imagination and fostered a love for reading. It was heartwarming to see the beautiful connection forming between the university students and the young learners, all brought together by the power of storytelling.

Yesterday’s Ready for Reading open library session was pure magic. The space came alive as students from Virginia Tech University in the USA stepped in to share captivating stories with the children. #Threads

These joyful moments highlight the effectiveness of experiential learning, where play and education intertwine, nurturing well-rounded and eager learners who are prepared to embark on the next chapter of their educational journey.

These sessions featured fun rides and hands-on learning experiences, bringing smiles to their faces as they engaged in play. Not only did these activities provide a refreshing break from the typical classroom routine, but they also encouraged a sense of curiosity and wonder.

What a wonderful way to wrap up the second trimester at Ready for Reading Harmony Preschool! The preschoolers enjoyed delightful outdoor sessions with Rwanda Book Mobile, participating in exciting activities that showcased their inner potential. #Threads

As they return to where they live and serve, they carry with them the tools to inspire, connect, and create lasting impact. This is only the beginning of the change they are about to spark, not just within their communities, but far beyond.

Each certificate signifies practical skills gained, ethical practices, and a commitment to uplift vulnerable communities through literacy, storytelling, music, and psychosocial support. These facilitators are more than participants, they are changemakers in their communities.

A week of learning, growth, and shared purpose has come to a meaningful close. Our Ready for Reading community facilitators have completed an intensive training journey, and today, they step forward not just with certificates, but with a renewed commitment to serve. #Threads
