@sabahmeddings We’re opening a new cafe today in Marble Arch. Yesterday’s announcement is terrible timing. We’re an independent, small business. No financial support or furlough to help us through what should have been 3 weeks of busy trade.

@RealEatingCo hello. Your staff in Cambridge are wonderful. Lovely coffee too. I’m sat here now and they’ve also had to deal with an incredibly rude and slightly racist lady. It was done with utter calm and class. They shouldn’t have to experience that. They were great.

#AskRishi we’re a hospitality business with 60 staff. We want to open for takeaway. But, we need to be certain we can justify taking staff out of furlough completely. August is too late to introduce part time furlough. Can you do it sooner?

#AskRishi We’re a small hospitality business. One landlord has sent a statutory demand for £19.5k for a rent quarter. We have to pay. Our available cash paid staff wages. Grants and HMRC rebates have not come in. We’re waiting on our bank. Can you stop aggressive landlords?

@RealEatingCo Thank you for your reply, much appreciated. I asked the girl for it and she said sorry no vegan options, only one vegetarian sandwich with eggs. The new place is in Chichester. Perhaps they haven’t introduced vegan food yet.
