This is most certainly true.

@malongo03 For what it's worth... While I don't agree with all your tech takes, I did used to do a lot of hiring back in the day. I think that you would have made a good addition to the sort of teams I used to build. Hang in there. You got some skillz. You'll get there.

A friend who prefers to remain anon said this. I think there is a lot of wisdom here. Polygamy, "polyamory" (polygamy in a trench coat), so called "gay marriage", free love, and even no fault divorce fall directly downstream of our modern misunderstanding of the purpose of marriage. So many problems would be solved if people stopped treating dating like proto-marriage and stopped treating marriage like super-dating.
