I get mistaken for being Arab or basically any ethnicity except my actual one 😭 Yesterday someone thought I was Gujarati and just started speaking to me in Gujarati and I had to do the embarrassing ‘I'm sorry, I don't know what you are saying’ thing.

@linneaflins @mikutisms dw language learning is quite fun once you find an interesting study book, embrace foreign content or talk to speakers personally managed to recover a decent amount of my bangla and spanish through study and am now studying french, where it is spoken where i currently am now lol

@swiftsnaw Pretty swell can't complain, up until uni everything prior seems like a blur ngl, but I'm sure I would say the same back in 6th form lol. Adopting this little furniture shredder certainly has been a highlight though I must say.
