@DrewPavlou We live in a warped world where Western leaders believe it's a greater virtue to be kind and tolerant towards the enemy rather than protective of your own people.
English

Rory Stewart complained on “The Rest Is Politics” podcast that Trump hit the Iranian regime opportunistically, precisely because they were weak.
Not fair apparently. You shouldn’t be allowed to rise and kill first. You need to wait until your enemy is powerful enough to destroy you, so that deterrence theory allows them eternal get out of jail free card like North Korea.
Just wait and allow a new North Korea to form right next to the most strategically and economically important waterway on Earth - hopefully an even more insane and unpredictable North Korea because it’s run by psychotic Islamist clerics who claim to want martyrdom as part of general religious race war apocalypse that supposedly brings back the hidden imam.
Just wait and allow them to get nukes while they promise to destroy and murder you in fiery inferno that brings on their religious apocalypse, oh and also it’s illegal under Muh International Law to shoot down their missiles when they fire them at you
Basically lie down, roll over and die in order to cleanse the sins of Western history, let insane religious zealots kill you because doing anything else is improper, mean, impolite, illegal.
Most cucked world view in the world

Fugitive Caesar@ThomBrady5
@grayzoneintel I think what's indisputable is that Trump saw a window of opportunity when Iran was temporarily vulnerable. Their air defenses were down and he felt that if he waited Iran would build more missiles and drones.

Two hospital explosions. Two @BBCNews narratives.
One dominated headlines for days.
The other disappeared within hours.
This is evidence of anti-Israel bias.
But it’s also something more.

@realzoestrimpel Repulsive and evil. How can the people who support this live with themselves?

@EylonALevy Beyond that, he's only able to take to the stage and preach his propaganda because his dad was one of the very few he made it to the infamous Kastner Train... History repeating itself...

@realzoestrimpel What a hideous and sickening experience. Well done for confrontinf them. Looks like a full on Jew hating convention under the guise of an art gallery opening... The man in the brown cardie is also the toothless Jew baiter often seen intimidating Jews at various hate rallies.

In Margate. My cheeks are red. I am shaking. I popped into an exhibition that turned out to be the insane fever dream of an artist called Matthew Collins: ‘Drawings Against Genocide.’ The exhibition is described as ‘drawings… raising consciousness about hell…. Israel is the pure encapsulation of it. Zionism is this terror state’s ruling ideology.’
Shocked by the use of Nazi imagery - the room is full of the Star of David pasted around figures meant to be Israelis and the Jewish ‘lobby’ spewing blood, to say nothing of blonde yummy mummies wearing ‘globalise the intifada’ shirts, I spoke to the artist to share my reaction as a Jewish person.
He was instantly aggressive. As soon as I started to say I was shocked and threatened by what I was seeing because it was Nazi imagery, the artist started yelling at me that I didn’t mean anything I was saying. Anytime I tried to speak (calmly) he said: ‘you don’t mean any of what you said, you’re just repeating ‘hasbarah talking points’ because ‘you’re defending a genocide’. On and on he yelled, in my face.
I said: ‘if I was a Black person…’ but couldn’t finish the sentence because: ‘you’re not are you?’
On the Nazi ideology point he said: ‘yeah. Why do you think it’s there. Israel are the Nazis’.
His breath was disgusting. The crowd began booing and closing in around me, making to shoe me out. I said: ‘fine, get the Jew out’ and he yelled more across the room at me, ‘repeatedly jeering ‘call the police, go ahead, call the police’. I said I would, and the community security trust, which features as a devil in his exhibition. This was met with even more jeering. ‘Yeah, call the CST’ was the last I heard before leaving.
Someone snapped pictures of me while I was being shouted at.
Short video shows the artist. The longer video, of our final almost surreally disgusting exchange, didn’t record.

@MaxE2review @joshxhowie I don't understand how he can still write for The Guardian, when in a flash he resigned on principle from the JC, even when they apologised profusely and removed the Elon Perry articles
English

Completely, almost unimaginably mental and craven. I mean that literally, as in if I hadn't seen people spend the past 20+ years obfuscating like this, and in-so doing covering up for/excusing/subtly but deliberately misleading people into thinking Islamic Jew-hate is actually a 'far right' phenomenon/something 'all of us' are equally to blame for (when in fact it's the people who are calling out that bigotry who these people are often smearing as far right, and its their own progressive dogma that has allowed islamic extremism to be imported and to proliferate), I genuinely wouldn't have believed any more than a tiny % of people would stoop to it.
English

I’m an admirer of Jonathan’s writing but sorry I think this is a cowardly piece. Many excellent points are made, many groups are rightly called out for their Jew-hate or complicitness, but GB News get mentioned twice, because they fulfilled their remit and platformed a far left voice (which isn’t mentioned, implying this came from the right).
Anecdotal this may be, and of course people would come up and say this me, but at school, events, shul, nearly every Jew I meet says they only watch GB News now because it’s the only channel that doesn’t go out of its way to gaslight and lie about Israel and Jews. To repeatedly highlight the channel, as though it’s part of why Jews are being attacked, is just total bullshit. To do it in the context of the years of lies about Israel and Jews from his own organisation, even with the slight dig at the most recent disgusting Guardian article, is almost comical.
But the main problem I have, is how on earth is it possible to write hundreds of words on the recent avalanche of attacks on Jews in the diaspora, calling out everyone under the sun supposedly responsible, and yet NOT ONCE mention Islam/Islamists/Islamic extremists?! It’s cowardice, it’s a deliberate muddying of reality, and I’m fucking sick of it.

I've just seen a trailer for the new Louis Theroux programme about the rise of radical Islam spreading across Europe.
He'll investigate national Parliaments and local authorities being infiltrated by muslim activists with an agenda to turn those countries into Islamic states.
He'll look at the indoctrination of school children from an early age, the prevalence of muslim gangs running our prisons and the problems associated with muslim "communities" self isolating and demanding to be "left alone" despite them continually provoking non-muslims with their mass prayer events in parks, public squares and in the road.
He'll delve into exactly why such a huge proportion of muslims claim welfare and housing benefits but refuse to contribute anything whatsoever in return.
He'll speak to Imams who feel free to preach "death to unbelievers" in the knowledge they'll never face any consequences.
And finally he'll speak to parliamentarians who make excuses for all the above while pandering to the needs, whims and egos of the perpetrators.
Actually, forget that.
IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN.
Theroux wouldn't dare make this programme. We all know that.

In the name of diversity and free speech the west has not only tolerated and enabled but encouraged what should be illogical.

@ZackPolanski, Iran fired two ballistic missiles at Diego Garcia, the joint US-UK base in the Indian Ocean. Neither hit their target but the significance goes far beyond this engagement. Diego Garcia is a 4,000 kilometres from Iran. Iran's foreign minister said last month that Iran had limited its missile range to 2,000 kilometres. That was a lie. And the implications of that lie are ones that every European leader, every Green Party politician and every opponent of this operation needs to confront. Missiles that can reach Diego Garcia can reach virtually every capital city in Europe. London. Paris. Berlin. Rome. The threat you are demanding Britain appease just revealed it can hit further than anyone publicly acknowledged.
Now let's address who started this war since you seem confused. Iran built, funded and directed Hezbollah for thirty years. Iran built, funded and directed Hamas, which carried out the October 7th massacres. Iran built, funded and directed the Houthis, who have been attacking international shipping for over a year. Iran supplied the drones and ballistic missiles Russia has been using to kill Ukrainian civilians. Iran plotted twenty assassinations on British soil in two years, every one of them thwarted by British security services. Iran hit RAF Akrotiri in Cyprus. Iran has been blockading the Strait of Hormuz, collapsing Gulf oil exports by sixty per cent and driving up the energy bills of the British households you claim to represent. And lest we forget what this regime does to its own people: it has massacred over thirty thousand of its own citizens who dared to protest against it, hanged dissidents in public, executed gay people and imprisoned women for removing their hijabs. This is not a government that deserves the benefit of the doubt. It is a theocratic killing machine that has been at war with its own people and the wider world simultaneously. Iran started this. It has been starting it, in one form or another, since 1979.
On the promise of a parliamentary vote: Starmer made that commitment as Labour leader running for his own party's leadership in 2020. He was not Prime Minister. He had no constitutional authority to bind future governments. The convention, as he has explained, is that votes apply to offensive deployments of troops, not defensive operations conducted at speed. You know this. You are citing it anyway because it is the only procedural argument left when the substantive ones have collapsed.
You lead a party that has never condemned Hamas. Never condemned Hezbollah. Never condemned the Iranian regime that funds both and has just fired ballistic missiles at a British base. Your concern for British military personnel and civilians rings hollow this morning. The regime you have consistently refused to condemn just tried to hit a base housing British forces. That is the context in which your statement lands. And it lands very badly indeed.
"This is not a government that deserves the benefit of the doubt. It is a theocratic killing machine that has been at war with its own people and the wider world simultaneously."

@Channel4News @Never_Again2020 A true statesman. But reading the other Jew hating responses to the post... It almost seems like the action to rid the world of a genocidal terror regime is an easier problem to tackle than the widespread imbecility and the Israel derangement syndrome expressed on X
English

Israel's President Isaac Herzog told Channel 4 News that the war with Iran "must be fought to change the course of history in the Middle East". He said that neighbouring Arab countries knew that a partnership with the US and Israel was the only way to end what he described as the Iranian regime's "reign of terror".
